Reality Footage Transcription
includes within its fold, the transcriptioning of raw footage,
as shot by professional videographers as well as amateurs.
However, most of the footage for TV shows and movies are taken
from stock footage libraries and archives. Transcription of
these recordings also comes under the purview of footage transcription.
News broadcast networks and Television show producers are
in frequent need of raw footage. Current events shot by amateurs
are used by all broadcasting networks because they lend a
‘close to the action’ attribute to the story.
Home videos featuring funny incidents, unrehearsed footage
of daring acts or uncut footage of popular shows have been
in demand too.
And finally, B Rolls also belong to the category of Reality
Footage Transcription. B Rolls are recordings inserted between
interviews or news reports that act as fillers during camera
zooms or as break from the monotony of viewing a one on one
interview. They also serve the purpose of giving a primer
to uninitiated viewers about the story being followed up.
Amateur videos and live recordings of events directly from
the site of action are unfit to pass the bill as belonging
to broadcast quality. Their transcriptioning work certainly
involves greater efforts on part of transcriptionists to maintain
accuracy as well as separating the relevant parts of the audio
from unimportant ones.
We have a rich history in delivering Reality Footage Transcription
services to clients from around the world. Our clients comprise
of the biggest names in television media production houses
and news broadcasting megacorps as well as small documentary
makers and other independent media affiliates. Hence you can
very well trust us do a fine job with your recordings.
Reality Footage Transcription is an extremely specialized
form of transcriptioning. The quality of the footage is rarely
the kind that is easy to comprehend or understand. Any fly-by-night
service cannot be entrusted with this work. Only transcription
companies like ours which have the necessary experience and
infrastructure to handle such projects should be chosen. We
understand the tremendous time constraints placed upon media
professionals. Their sense of urgency has rubbed off on us
too. Hence we can claim that once we take up a transcription
project, be rest assured that it will be completed on time.
We have categorized our services as Standard TAT and Rush
TAT to cater to different demands that arise from our clients.
Standard TAT is for those assignments that have no urgency
constraints and hence will be delivered to the client in 24
to 48 hours after receipt of project. They are charged normally,
but enjoy the best quality as all other services. For all
the projects of immediate urgency, interested clients can
opt for Rush TAT services. Our transcriptionists will slug
it out and burn the midnight oil to get your recordings transcribed
in the shortest possible time.
Our media transcription experts transcribe all spoken English
dialogs and readable super-imposed text cards and lower thirds.
Brief scene descriptions are also provided based on need.
We will follow the special formatting guidelines as requested
by the client.
We also provide for the time stamping of your tramscripts.
Transcriptioning will be done with time stamp for every 30
seconds or as per the client needs. We expect the client to
provide DVD or VHS with a time-code window burn.
And no, we don’t charge you the moon for our services.
Our rates are definitely cheaper than any of your local transcription
companies. This is because of the outsourcing model that we
follow in our operations. The company has an offshore location
in India where trained transcriptionists have been hired to
do the transcription work. Our cost of operation is lower
than any local transcription company and so we are able to
deliver transcription services at rock bottom prices. The
quality of transcription is bound to be good. Otherwise, we
wouldn’t have been the choice of the cream of the media
industry for all their footage transcription requirements.
